Chinese characters have been around for 4,500 years and be broken into components called radicals. There
are 214 radicals (called bushou) that were popularized by the Emperor Kangxi who commissioned the Kangxi
Zidian, a character dictionary listing over 47,000 entries. Being able to recognize common radicals helps
in the learning and recognition of new characters.
Look at the example on the right for "bright".
It seems incredible that at one time, the chinese knew and worshipped
Shang Di (the ruler above all).
When we examine the ancient characters, we see many interesting combinations that correlater with the
God of the Bible.

man to experience difficulty in farming and the most serious consequence of all; God drove them out

How can we receive God's gift of eternal life?
The Bible says we must individually receive the
Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.
"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of

We receive Jesus Christ by faith through prayer.
Prayer is talking with God. god knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is
